The winner of Wellington Bowl-A-Rama NZ 2009 was BENJI GALLOWAY! Saturday 14th February 2009 at Waitangi Park Skatepark, Wellington, New Zealand saw BENJI GALLOWAY skate away with US $3500 in front of an excited crowd of over 6,000 people!
A legend of the skateboarding scene, BENJI is famous for his non stop runs that literally switch from one stance to next so fast you don’t even notice until your confusion makes you realize. The finals were the most intense, original and mind blowing skateboarding New Zealand has ever seen. For Benji to come out on top was an amazing feat that will be talked about for a long time.

Och detta var bara början för Bacon Skateboards. Benji Galloway har sedan vunnit ytterliggare två bowltävlingar och leder världsrankingen i bowl precis före en annan Bacon skatare Tim Johnson. Även Kevin Kowalski är med i toppen på en 5: plats.
